BOARD MEMBERS
 

Rev. Patricia M. Zimmerman • Pastor/Board Chairperson

Pat Zimmerman was ordained a minister in the Order of Melchizedek through the Center of Light and Serenity in May of 2004. She has been on her spiritual journey her entire life, desiring to be a nun when she grew up. Instead she married her husband and has two grown children and a grandchild.

About 25 years ago, she began her spiritual journey and has spent years reading countless number of books and taking numerous courses in spirituality, metaphysics, and healing. Pat began doing healing work in 2003, became an ordained minister, and began teaching in 2004. She is certified in many different healing modalities and teaches courses in healing, metaphysics, and the ascension process.

Rev. James J. Wachter • Treasurer

Jim Wachter was ordained a minister in the Order of Melchizedek through the Center of Light and Serenity in March of 2004. In 1980, though working in industry, Jim began his spiritual awakening journey with reading and courses in personal mind control and the Silva UltraMind ESP System.

Jim has spent vacations during the last ten years at the Tom Brown Jr. Tracking, Nature and Wilderness Survival School, in intense classes of nature awareness and spirituality, tracking, healing, philosophy and shamanism, classes and ceremonies with Native teachers, home study and many classes in other metaphysical schools.

Jim is certified in many different healing modalities, is an active shamanic practitioner, teaches courses in awareness and healing, and assists with the ascension ceremonies. He is also an avid gardener and promoter of Native bee keeping. Jim is married, with three adult sons, and two grandchildren.

Rev. Beth Reid • Public Relations Coordinator

Beth Reid has been a student of earth and spirit energies for over 25 years. She works as a landscape designer, is a bee keeper, earth steward, and herbalist.

Beth lives on a farm in Waynesville with her partner and has two awesome children and many animal friends. She plays old-time music, makes maple syrup, and handmade soap.

Beth is certified in several healing arts and was ordained a minister in the Order of Melchizedek through White Dove Circle of Light and Love in 2010.

Rev. Mary E. Benson-Landau, RN, MSN • Ordination Counselor

Mary Benson-Landau is a teacher and healer who has studied with Wisdom Keepers of many traditions. Mary has enjoyed her ministry of nursing for over 35 years. She has been a hospital-based clinical nurse educator; adjunct faculty in several schools of nursing; adjunct faculty at Antioch McGregor, and an organizational consultant. She is currently program manager of an Adult Day Service. She has been employed at Miami Valley Hospital for over 25 years.

Mary has presented numerous workshops and training sessions locally and nationally. She has a special interest in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and a Native American Peace Shield as tools to help others value the diversity of communication preference.

Mary is certified in several different healing modalities. She was ordained a minister in 2003 through Universal Temple of Truth and was ordained in the Order of Melchizedek in 2010. Mary is a certified Intuitive Healer and Spiritual Mentor from The Stillpoint School of Integrative Life Healing.

Through all of Mary's work, her primary goal has been to assist others in reaching their full potential. She is very proud of her two beautiful daughters and grandchildren.

Rev. Lawrence Crockett • Fundraising

Larry Crockett is a teacher and healer who began seeking his spiritual path with the death of a loved one in 2004. He started questioning, "Who am I?" "Why am I here?"

Larry is certified in various healing modalities and was ordained a minister in 2009. Larry has attended and participated in many different classes/workshops on the subjects of healing, philosophy, shamanism, awareness, and metaphysical studies.

Larry is married, with two children. He enjoys growing herbs and vegetables in his backyard garden, as well as collecting crystals used for meditation and healing.

 

OFFICERS 

Denise D. Garber • Music Director

Denise Garber grew up with music being an important part of her life. She had a grandmother who played the accordion and a grandfather who played a trombone in the Shrine Band, both of great inspiration to her.

Denise began her musical training as a youngster by taking piano lessons and later played several different instruments in the school band. She played organ and piano at church for years. Denise and her husband instilled the importance of music in their three children (who all play musical instruments).

Denise developed an interest in the harp in 2005 and is an aspiring harpist, together with her largest harp named Destiny. She also loves to collect and play antique musical instruments.

Denise began her spiritual journey in 2000, taking Metaphysics and Spirituality classes since that time. She loves working with people, and volunteering has been a vital part of her life.

Kay Brinkman • Community Leader

Kay has been on her Spiritual journey for about 12 years. Over the years she has taken several classes and workshops to develop her intuition/connection to all, including Spirit, Human and Animal. Her love of animals has led her to develop a special connection with them. Kay loves to bring joy to others. She is certified in several healing modalities. She is aspiring to be accepted into the Order of Melchezidek Program to become a White Dove Minister.
 
Her perseverance to overcome obstacles on her journey has included many different experiences which have strengthened her belief in Miracles, Faith, Love, and Compassion.
 
Kay has two sisters and four nieces and nephews. She lives in Ft. Mitchell, KY with her four legged human cat, Babydoll. She loves to read, sing, and spend time with family and friends.
